SPORTS BACKGROUND

Growing up in Sweden on a farm I was active from a very young age. I played soccer, did some figure skating and enjoyed being outdoors.

Once I moved from my small hometown to Stockholm in 2014 I started Crossfit. I started competing once I moved to the U.S. During my first year in LA, 2016–2017, I did two Crossfit competitions.

In 2017 I decided to get into Olympic Style Weightlifting because I really enjoyed the Snatch and Clean & Jerk so much. I competed 5 times in local competitions in LA.

In the beginning of 2019 I decided to try something new and switched over to Bodybuilding, my first show was in June 2019 and I decided to enter two categories figure and bikini and she won the Bikini and placed third in figure.

MY CHALLENGES

Autoimmune Diseases

I know the struggle with autoimmune diseases because I have two myself. It took the doctors years to figure out what was wrong with me and I more or less self-diagnosed them before the doctors figured it out.

Celiac Disease

I was diagnosed in 2009 after going to the doctor for over 1 year.

Lyme Disease

I was diagnosed back in 2015 after almost 2 years of doctors visits. I got it from a tick and I am still experiencing relapses.

Hormone Imbalances

After dieting for my first show I learnt from a lot of mistakes, the way I got ready for the show was not the healthiest approach out there and outdated. My coach used an old school dieting approach with minimal amounts of fats and low calories for more than 6 months which impacted my hormones and overall health. It took me months to get my hormones in balance again and I have learned a lot throughout that process. 

Women need a different approach to diet than men, we need to eat differently than them and there are ways to diet in a healthy way and make it a lifestyle. Therefore I am really passionate about helping women to find a well balanced diet that makes them feel good and which doesn’t impact their hormones.

I absolutely loves to help people around me to find a healthy lifestyle that works for them and their body! I am constantly learning and I always wants to help you to figure out what works best for YOU and your body. We are all so different!
